Own little garden is called so because it is possible to get to it directly from own apartments of the Gatchina castle. It is a garden it was arranged according to the order of Grand Duke Pavel Petrovitch, future emperor Pavel I. Round in the plan, the garden is decorated with sculptures from Carrara marble, in it also there are two sphinxes from a stone of Pudost which, allegedly, appeared in Gatchina still when Ekaterina II Grigory Orlov.
